TiER1 and Gateway Partner for Nation’s First Instructional Design Associate Degree Program

TiER1 has partnered with Gateway Community College to develop the first Associate Degree Program for Instructional Design and Learning Technologies. The two-year program will teach students skills including web and graphic design, web development, technical writing and project management. TiER1 Performance Solutions Awarded Research Grant for Competency-based Adaptive Training System with the Air Force

TiER1 Performance Solutions announced today that they received a Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) award from the Air Force Research Laboratory (ARFL). The Phase I contract, called Competency-based Adaptive Training System (CATS), will develop a system to derive a learner’s competence from many sources such as assessments, high-end simulations, and peer review. Through their Performance1 technology platform, TiER1 will build out a Competency Management System (CMS), which manages various domain-specific competency models and learner proficiency ratings.
